I like a comb but my daughter won't use a comb. She wants a brush.

I have curly hair, they seem to get tighter as I get older, so I use a comb.

Combing is gentler on your hair follicles and your scalp....this is true for me and the women I know with curly hair.

I guess it all depends on hair type, and tender-headedness...I think I just made that word up lol

I like a brush. I have fine hair and it has a tendency to knot, so a brush is a lot less painful than a comb. Plus, it has a tendency to get staticky so using a plastic comb only makes it worse. I use a natural horsehair brush, it's better for your hair than a plastic one.

Neither. I have naturally curly hair and when I brush it, it turns into a mega frizz bomb. I just use alot of conditioner in the shower and then finger comb out any snarls.

When you hair is wet....it's best to use a comb. If your hair is dry a brush. A brush allows bristles to move thru hair more easily and usually will get most tangles out if you have long hair. It also gives the hair more shine as it moves natural oils from the scalp thru the hair follicles. It is really personal preference, and since it's your daughter's hair.....let her use the brush.

I was told my by hair dresser that you should use a comb on wet hair only and then a brush once it is dry. Using a brush on wet hair can what she called "strip" the hair. If your daughter has curly hair she should us a pick to get through the tangles. Good Luck!
