If I can't brush my hair when it's wet, what should I do?

When I get out of the shower, my hair is so incredibly tangly that I NEED to brush it. But I know that if you brush your hair while it's wet, it snaps and causes split ends... and I have a lot of split ends so I'm trying to do everything I can to prevent this. Is there anything else I can do for my hair when I get out of the shower instead of brushing?

If I can't brush my hair when it's wet, what should I do?

First of all DONT EVER BRUSH YOUR HAIR WHEN WET. Even if its damaged or not. When wet and brushed, hair tends to fall off easily. Go to a salon, ask the hairdresser to give you a good cut, where even the length is not too shortened and damaged ends are chopped off as well. Secondly please go in for weekly treatments of deep conditioning. Third, oil your hair atleast two times a week. It helps blood flow and strengthen the hair from within. Last suggesstion i can give is always, use leave in conditioner after shampooing. Dont try the serums and its best when you are blowdrying your hair. Id suggest you a cream based leave in, Try loreals Tec liss control, or schwarzkopffs leavin conditioner, or TIGI. And u will not complain of this ever.

Maybe brush it while you're still in the shower with water running through it.

Get a wide tooth comb and start combing the ends and work your way up, but a trick that usually works if you don't go crazy shampooing your hair while your in the shower like getting it all on top of your head (you know what I'm talking about) is to comb your hair out before you wash it cause that's what I do and I hardly have any tangles when I get out. Conditioner helps too!

If I can't brush my hair when it's wet, what should I do?

use a good conditioner. but dont just put it in and rinse like you do with shampoo. let it sit for a few minutes while you shave or something. then let the water run on your hair, and brush your fingers through it. your hair wont be so tangly when you get out.

Use a wide toothed comb %26amp; start combing from the ends of you hair gradually de-tangling as you go, you can get a leave in condition which makes the process easier

If I can't brush my hair when it's wet, what should I do?

I brush my hair when I get out of the shower and I don't have split ends. Then again I use a really good conditioner, so my hair just slips out of any tangles and barely needs to be brushed. Try buying a better conditioner so your hair won't be as tangled, then use a wide tooth comb.

If I can't brush my hair when it's wet, what should I do?

you should definitely get a better conditioner.

dove intensive care . or anything moisture rich

If I can't brush my hair when it's wet, what should I do?

You need to get a pick, not a brush or comb, for your hair for detangling after you shower. You also need to get a detangling weightless conditioner spray. I use Alberto VO5 Detangle and Shine, and I know that Regis Hairstylists Salon also sells one. Any kind will do. Just look for detangling spray.

Towel dry your hair, spray the conditioner on the entire length of your hair liberally (you're using this in addition to the conditioner you use in the shower after you shampoo), then starting at the ends of your hair, use the wide-toothed pick to gently remove tangles and smooth it out. Always start from the bottom up.

You need to condition your hair while you are in the shower--

Then when you get out of the shower, you can use a detangler on your hair, and then use a pick or a wide toothed comb on your hair--

If you use a brush, it breaks the ends-- causes damage to the cuticle when it is wet-- that is why you use a wide toothed comb--

You can also use a smoother with dimethicone in it, it helps a lot on my hair, I have very thick coarse hair and always have-- so I have similar issues--

I use Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine, it is cheap and works as well as the $22 an ounce one that I bought at the hair salon.

when u have washed and conditioned ur hair, use a leave in conditioner to help detangle hair and use a wide tooth comb.

hwne u do comb ur hair - work from tips to roots - start @ ur ends and work ur way up.

to help prevent split ends getting worse, have regular hair trims - 4-6 weeks ideally

If I can't brush my hair when it's wet, what should I do?

#1 you shouldn't be BRUSHING your wet anyway.

#2 you need to be using a conditioner and a wide tooth comb. Oh and sometimes using the wrong shampoos will do this make your hair tangly. Make sure you are using PROFESSIONAL shampoo not grocery shampoo.

If I can't brush my hair when it's wet, what should I do?

Yes I totally agree with Rock, my daily routine is after I wash the shampoo off, I will get a brush and straighten the entagle hairs... When I get out off the toilet, I will get a smaller towel to dry my hair, switched on the fan, sit in front of it and instead of using brush, I'll just run my fingers through my wet hair... You should try it... Good Luck...

If I can't brush my hair when it's wet, what should I do?

Detangle your hair before your shower, use a comb through your hair while you have conditionner in it, and then comb it after. If you still have tangles, you can go to a salon and buy Schwarzkopf Moisture kick leave in conditionner. It helps detangle and moisturize your hair. Just don't use the pharmacy shampoos or conditionners because they will ruin your hair.

If I can't brush my hair when it's wet, what should I do?

hmm maybe combing it and blow drying it. thats the only way you can get the tangles out. plus, its not a very healthy way to brush your hair. Try combing it see what happends.

If I can't brush my hair when it's wet, what should I do?

Use a wide tooth comb, preferable one with some give in the teeth so it won't tug so much.
