What kind of brush is best for applying henna to one's hair?

I am going to henna my hair; I looked into the process and made my purchase of the powdered color. I read that one parts the hair into 1" strands and applies henna from root to end. Is there a type of brush that's really good (efficient, easier) for this?

It is not really necessary to use a brush, just section your hair and smush henna into each section as you go. Be sure to massage it into the entire length and put on a shower cap and leave it on for several hours.

It is not good to brush wet hair as it breaks it off.

You can put the henna into a squirt bottle or just use your hands, be sure to wear gloves when doing this since it will dye your hands too.
