What is the best way to brush African American hair to reduce the amount of breakage and falling hai

The best way is not to brush it at all! The best thing I could have ever done for my hair was to throw out my hair brush. My hair has grown so much since I did. Have you ever looked at your hair brush and seen so much hair that you've had to take a comb to get it all out? That's all breakage. Ever since I started using wide-toothed combs to detangle my hair, I've had much, much less breakage. You will, too. Trust me, brushing isn't necessary (unless you blow-dry your hair straight, then restrict your brush usage to around once a week)

A wide toothed comb, not a brush if your hair is very thick or natural.
