Silly question----- How should I brush my newborn daughters hair so when she is growing it will grow

I am not sure I worded that correctly it is just when I had my son six years ago his hair just never looked right. I am not into style whatsoever but I do want her hair to look nice. any advice would help. She is only ten days old but she does have a descent amount of hair.

She may loose this hair so your combing won't matter anyways, generally an infant's newborn hair plays no part in how it's going to look later, so the way it's growing now will have no effect on how it grows later. People probably think it already looks cute the way it is so I wouldn't stress over it.

No matter how you brush your daughter's hair, it will not have any effect on how it grows in. Babies' hair usually looks pretty wild as it's growing in...that's OK.

Some babies have a hair pattern that the hair will follow no matter which way you brush it. Most of the time, you can brush it the same way every day and the hair will just go that way naturally after a while.

There is no correct way to brush a newborns hair. Whatever way it grows in IS the right way. Brush it as you normally would.

What she has now will fall out. But honestly, there's not much you can do. My stepdaughters have a hereditary cowlick in front and they've passed it on to their own daughters and no amount of combing or brushing will get rid of it.

I understand what you are asking, but unfortunately there is nothing you can do that will affect how her hair comes in or lays on her head. It will do it's own thing, and will be perfect and adorable as she gets older. Newborns can have some really wild hair. My friends baby girl had the most incredible mohawk as a newborn - it was dark, about 2 inches long, and stood straight off her head, and most of her hair was down the middle of her head. It was the most bizarre baby hair I have ever seen, but totally cute. Now she has beautiful (and very normal) wavy brown hair at 8 months old. So don't worry, her hair will be exactly as it should.
