How can I stop getting static in my hair when I brush it?

Hey my hair is very staticy!!!

I just put water in it but that doesn't help for long. Try not to rub your hands through your hair it makes it staticy!!! Don't walk by any balloons!!!! TeeHEe!!! If you take showers at every other day the natural oils in your hair should keep it from going crazy. There is a reason people don't wash their hair everyday. My friend does and it's very staticy. Now if you're like me and need a shower very often then just don't wash your hair alot. Don't wrap your hair in a towel after a shower because the towel takes away the moisture and oils. Hey!! don't be discouraged it might soon pass. Try a better brush that doesn't use hair or bristlies. Use a hair product called Frizz-Ease. There is spray on and conditioner and shampoo the whole hook up!! Yah

Wet the brush when you brush your hair. water is statics enemy.

If that doesnt work, use a gel when you brush.
