When I get out of the shower, I brush my hair with a pokey brush, not one with thick bristles since that stretches wet hair and makes it weak. I basically just use the pokey one to get the tangles out. I don't use a comb unless I REALLY want to separate my hair in sections to cut it or something. I brush my hair when I get out of the shower..so really just once a day.. I like to brush it when its wet, but I don't like to make a habit of brushing my hair since I get a lot of tangles and I can't stand the way those feel!
