depends on what color it is...it might not even grab.

pull strands of hair and dye them, and wrap them in foil paper (like highlights) they will be consider lowlights.

i would use a comb if youre gonna do that. the look will be suttle, though. and it depends on the color of the dye in order for it to look like streaks. if its a lighter color, it might. if its close to your hair color, it probibly wont.
