My hair is always hard to brush in the morning. Any suggestions?

It just poofs up and its crazy.

My hair is always hard to brush in the morning. Any suggestions?

I have hair that is kind of wavy and can be curly but if I don't put anything in it after a shower, it just frizzes and poufs... I have used Aussie Knot Forgotten detangler ( under $3 at WalMart) for years and I just apply a quarter-size amount after I shampoo and towel-dry my hair b/c this is the only way I can comb through it.

Biosilk gloss is also great for helping hair stay silky and smooth...

buy a deep conditioner (they can be expensive but worth it) or buy a leave in conditioner. Alsodon't blow dry your hair cuz it will make if fluffy and frizzy.

brush @ night

you could try pulling it straight back if its wet at night and wait for it to air dry, after that let the pony tail lose a little and wrap a silk scarf around it. if its not wet at night you could put it in braids to keep it from poofing and it would be much easier to brush but then you would have crimped hair in the morning. If you dont like the crimped look you could try just putting your hair in a loose ponytail but then the poof factor may not be helped with out the scarf. it will however be easier to brush in the morning. i hope i helped =]

Sleep with a do rag on.

Put conditioner in (Nexxus) and put your hair in loose pig tails on each side of your head.

Large loose braids.

An old fashioned sleep cap.

Don't brush until you apply a silkening gloss to the ends and shaft. If your hair is really coarse and unruly use a pomade first.
