When I leave my hair to naturally dry it has really nice waves in it however when I brush it some of the waves in my hair become straight, does anyone know a hairbrush that won't make my hair straight when I brush it?

Don't use a brush. Use a perm pick/comb. You can buy them cheap at Walmart or Kmart.

I have waves too. What I do is brush it while it's dripping wet, that way it will be untangled and how you want it and as it dries it gets wavy again. In fact, I did that this morning and I have wavy hair now. It's still damp, but it's getting there. =)

A certain brush will not do the trick. What you need is the right product. TIGI Curls Rock works wonders. Brush your hair wet than apply and scrunch. It will bounce back up. If you brush it when its dry dont use a brush. Use a pick.
