Why does your hair get frizzy when you detangle it or brush it?

I've noticed that in my hair a lot.

I always wondered why that happens..

Because you need to brush your hair and use a blow dryer to blow the static and frizz out of your hair often, it's as simple as that.

Mine too but if you spray it with a water bottle first then rub in some leave in conditioner, its so much better. I don't like detanglers because they leave your hair feeling nasty.

your hair needs to be washed its probably dirty or you have blowdried it to much

Why does your hair get frizzy when you detangle it or brush it?

only if I try to rake thorugh it while it's dry.. if you use water to wet it down and then try to detangle it... or brush it... if you use a hair strightener first... if it's really bad you can't even do that... but if you do strighten it first, then try to get some knots out... it wroks better without getting super frizzy... try it and see how it works for you... use a spray bottle to wet your hair down to rake thorugh it.. =) less friz...
