brush your hair when it's a little damp after your shower.. then let it dry.. if you would like to go out, i suggest you not to brush it.. it's good if you keep it in a pony tail.. cause that will make the curls more defined.. if you planned on going out with your curls loose.. apply hair spray so it won't look too bushy.. don't straighten your hair.. you should be proud with those curls.. always use conditioner.. i have curly hair and loving it!

If I were you, I wouldn't brush it. I would just get mouse, gel, or spray gel, and just scrunch it. It takes just a minute or 2, and it really accents your curls!

There are lots of products to help with frizz made by most hair product companies, the best being John Frieda, at least in my opinion. Another thing that helps is using a pick while your hair is wet versus brushing.

use a really wide toothed comb, and comb it while its wet

I no plenty of prople with the same probalme that you have. You can try getting your hair wet or right after a shower put some mouse in it or some hair gel. but if its that bad you can go to your local hair place and ask them for their advice.

That's exactly how my hair is.Mine is about shoulder length.

Every night I wash my hair. After thoroughly towel-drying it,

I bend over and scrunch it with my hands and Generic brand hair wax.(It's very cheap.)Just let it air dry.You can even go to bed with it partly damp.In the morning your hair should be curly %26amp; non frizzy.DO NOT brush it.Extra wax might be needed for last-minute styling. The amount of wax you use depends on the length and thickness of your hair.I hope this works for you.

Instead of using a hair brush try using a pick or big toothed comb. Also add some frizz eze to your hair. Only comb your hair when it's wet.

it's much effective if you brush your hair and then fasten it tightly for almost 20 minutes.wearing a scarf on your head for ten minutes is so helpful.

First don't wash your hair every day with shampoo. This will dry your hair out. I have naturally curly hair and wash mine every 3 days or so. I do however always use conditioner. Usually for curly hair. I discovered a new product that will help the curls but not make my hair crunchy. I use a curling creme from Dove and some V05. The V05 really helps with the frizz, just remember a little goes a long way. Don't. Don't brush your hair especially when it is dry. This breaks the cuticle and will cause your hair to frizz. I usually use my trusted fingers to come my hair out, but then again I have short hair. If you have long hair use a wide toothed comb and comb it when it is wet.

I would recommend permanently relaxing your hair straight. If you've never done this before I would recommend going to the salon and letting them do this. This will permanently straighten your hair but requires monthly maintainence.

As an alternative blow your hair out with a blow dryer while combing through your hair with one hand and apply the heat from the dryer to the scalp to the ends of your hair with the other hand.

If you are skilled enough to try permanently straightening your hair on your own. It is like permanently coloring your hair, if you've done this before you can definitely do this. This process should not take longer than 20 minutes depending on the length of your hair. Be sure to rinse completely with shampoo 3-4 times to remove all traces of the relaxer.

African American hair is very very curly and this is how we straighten our hair. Many other women with curly hair have used this method successfully. I've personally used this method on clients with curly hair and it is proven effective.

Try your local drug-store in the haircare aisle and look for a relaxer in the box. It contains all the products you need relaxer, shampoo and conditioner. I'd highly recommend using Revolon products for best results. Also, there are instructions in the box if you have any trouble. I recommend reading that first. The kit costs about 7$. Blow dry and style.

I'm the same way. I have curly hair but when I brush it it expands and gets bushy. I would recommend that you only brushed it after a shower or got a super heavy duty hair straightener if you are planning to go out.
