Use a brush that doesn't reach to your scalp, that will cut down on static. Whatever 'tip' is on your bristles, choose a different one.

Hair brushes don't eliminate static. In fact they can help produce it. Just try wetting your hair

The best way to fix static is to use the harder toothed brushes and not the soft ones. i know its not as comfortable but it stops frizz and keeps your hair from getting oily. {as long as you dont brush ur hair too much}
